Oak Creek Winterfest
5:30 to 7 p.m. | Oak Creek Hockey Rink, 325 Nancy Crawford Blvd.
Bring family and friends for an evening of live music, free ice skating, hot dogs and hot chocolate. All ages. Adult drop-in hockey starts at 8 p.m.
Glow Night Climb
7 p.m. to 10 p.m. | Love Climbing Adventures, 2673 Jacobs Circle

Fun for all ages with this glow night climbing event. People are encouraged to wear fluorescent clothes. Entry will be $20 across the board. Free entry for members.
Freeskier 20th anniversary RV & Party Tour

Steamboat will be the fourth stop of Freeskier ‘s 20th Anniversary RV Tour, featuring live music provided by YAMN, the first band in Colorado to coin the term “heady metal.”

It’s Summer Somewhere Cornhole Tournament
3 to 10 p.m. | Routt County Fairgrounds, 365 S. Poplar St. in Hayden
The cornhole tournament is a fundraiser for a new playground at Dry Creek Park. The event features tailgating at 2:30 p.m., registration and check-in at 3 p.m., bracketing at 3:30 p.m. and bags flying at 4 p.m. $40 entry fee per team. Ski free every Sunday at historic Howelsen Hill. It's as easy as simply stopping in the lodge to pick up a free ticket, which is required to access the lifts and the Nordic trails.
Pottery Wheel Sampler Class

This workshop is made for those who are curious about the wheel or want to further their skills without the commitment of a multi-week class.
Singer Songwriter Series: Peter Mulvey and Danielle Ate the Sandwich

This is a double-barreled show with two talented headliners for the price of one. Peter Mulvey is a virtuoso guitarist whose songs are deep and thought provoking. Danielle Anderson is known for her quirky, lyrical twists, performing most frequently with a ukulele and delivering witty and honest stage banter in her live shows.
