— A small fire was reported Saturday in the Sarvis Creek Wilderness.

Hunters scouting for the upcoming season found the fire about 2 miles northeast of the Silver Creek trailhead.

The fire was listed at 1 acre Saturday evening.

A photo taken by one of the hunters shows it is burning in beetle-killed trees.
