June 18, 1989 – September 3, 2020

Kyle Ray McCoy, age thirty-one, went to be with the Lord, September 3, 2020. He was born June 18, 1989 in Loveland, Colorado to Donna and Kent McCoy. He was a graduate of Longmont High School and attended Colorado Mountain College in Steamboat Springs, Colorado. Kyle was married to the love of his life, Natalie (Solawetz) McCoy.

Kyle worked as a firefighter EMT 1 in Liberal, Kansas from August 2011 until January, 2014. He then moved to Hayden, Colorado and worked with the West Routt Fire Department until September, 2020. Kyle loved being a first responder and helping people. Kyle loved the mountains, snowboarding, fly fishing, hunting, and four-wheeling. Kyle lived life to the fullest and was always there for his family and friends.

Kyle is survived by his wife Natalie; mother Donna; father Kent; sister Megan and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

The community can pay their last respects to Kyle on Saturday, September 12 at 10:30 am as the funeral procession begins at Hawthorne and CO 40 to Poplar Street up to Dry Creek Park where the service will take place. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, memorial services for Kyle are limited to invite only.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made out to “Klauzer & Tremaine, LLC Trust Account” with “West Routt Firefighter Scholarship Fund” in the memo line.
