WILLIAM ABREE “BILL” GALLAGHER

William Abree Gallagher (Bill), 69, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Bill succumbed to Leukemia after a difficult battle. Born in Spokane, Washington Bill was preceded in death by Donald and Norma Gallagher. He was also preceded in death by his loving wife, Katherine Parsons. Bill is survived by his children, William Gallagher Jr (wife Lori), Erin Agee (husband Forrest), Julie Luera (husband Eddie), Jennifer Sanchez (husband Ross), Gloria Dominguez (mother of his children), and his stepdaughter Valerie Boulger (husband Josh), stepdaughter Cindy Darby (husband Jody), stepdaughter Melissa Farley. He is also survived by his sisters, Sally Gallagher, Karen Whiteman and Susie Felton and brothers, Don Gallagher and Jim Gallagher, as well as his 14 grandchildren and many loving family and friends. Bill Served in the U.S. Air Force. After a tour in Vietnam, he was honorably discharged from the Air Force where he promptly returned to Albuquerque, New Mexico to begin his family and career. Bill loved camping, fishing, hunting and spending time with his family. Bill was a loving father, husband, grandpa and friend to all. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017, at Calvary Baptist Church in Craig. Following the service, Bill will be laid to rest at Craig Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made in Bill’s memory to the Leukemia Foundation in care of Grant Mortuary.
