Why I Moved to Steamboat Springs — Robin Hall

Robin Hall, entrepreneur

“My family and I moved to Steamboat 11 years ago from Summit County. Being born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Summit was the perfect ‘gateway drug’ to the mountains for my husband Matt and I. We had our first son, Will, there, but knew that we wanted to go deeper — into the mountains and into a real community. Once we laid eyes on Steamboat and a job opportunity at Smartwool arose, we jumped in headfirst. We were greeted with open arms by the town as a whole. We had another son, Alex, bought a home and laid down deep roots in Old Town. We intend never to leave and to do everything that we can to give back to this magical place that has given us so much.”
