Joel Reichenberger

— The Yampa Valley Wrestling Club wraps up its season Sunday at Steamboat Springs High School.

The tournament, which starts at 9 a.m., will feature many area youth wrestlers. The cost to attend will be $1 for children and $3 for adults.

Last month, Peyton Belton led the way for the wrestling club, grabbing first place Nov. 22 at the Bald Eagle Tournament in Gypsum.

Belton was one of 21 local wrestlers to bring home a high finish.

Finishing second were Chance Reynolds, Jack Conrad, Braden Bosick, Theo Hansen, Wilder Gray, Kolton Voeltzel, Dakota Thvedt and Brandon Yeager.

In third were Brodie Bosick, Tallak Myhre, Katelyn Hoffman, Lance Bryant and Tehya Johnson.

Finishing fourth were Devon McNeilly, Jayden Kemry, Utah Schamanski, Michael Johnson, Matthew Hansen, Tyler Johnson and Gage Reynolds.
