STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — Do you hear the dreaded sound of a shark coming underneath your boat? Or do you hear the quirky things Steamboat Springs locals say as the ski season comes to a close?

If so, you’re ready to grab your tickets for this year’s Cabaret, a fundraiser for Steamboat Creates. The 2019 theme is “We’re Gonna Need a Bigger Boat,” and while the poster may feature a great white shark à la “Jaws,” the show will focus more on Steamboat quirks through comedy, acting and songs.

General admission tickets cost $35, and VIP tickets, which include a drink, appetizers and early admission, are $55.

The show will kick off Thursday, May 9, and run through Saturday, May 11, at the Chief Theater, 813 Lincoln Ave. Two shows will be performed nightly at 6 and 8:30 p.m.
