2:06 a.m. A possible protection order violation was reported in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive. Police are investigating.

8:35 a.m. A fire alarm went off in the 1400 block of Eagle Glen Drive. Everything was fine.



10:39 a.m. A burglar alarm went off in the 2900 block of Burgess Pines Trail. Everything was fine.

11:50 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police took a report.



11:52 a.m. A two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident was reported in the 11000 block of Routt County Road 51A in Hayden. There were no injuries. Police took a report.

11:54 a.m. A two-vehicle, noninjury accident was reported in the 200 block of Lincoln Avenue where two cars collided trying to avoid a previous accident. Police took a report.

12:50 p.m. Two women were caught shoplifting cold medicine and Mountain Dew in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. They were cited and released.

1:37 p.m. Police assisted a motorist in the 100 block of Anglers Drive.

2:42 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 900 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

5:07 p.m. A fire alarm went off in the 900 block of Central Park Drive. Everything was fine.

5:31 p.m. A vehicle complaint was received from Burgess Creek Road where a white Dodge Magnum was speeding and swerving and nearly hit the reporting party’s vehicle head-on. Police located the vehicle in a parking lot, but they were unable to locate the driver.

5:47 p.m. Shoplifting was reported in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive where a woman stole three Halloween costumes and a feather boa. The woman left the store before police arrived. Police took a report.

6:37 p.m. A 26-year-old Steamboat Springs man was arrested during a traffic stop at Eagleridge Drive and Mount Werner Road on suspicion of driving under restraint, speeding, expired plates, no proof of insurance, driving without a license and fugitive of justice.

7:56 p.m. A 17-year-old boy was caught by store security officers attempting to shoplift a six-pack of beer in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The boy tried to put up a fight when contacted by a security guard and eventually was arrested on suspicion of theft, assault, minor in possession of alcohol, and minor in possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia.

8:39 p.m. Trespassing was reported in the 1000 block of Central Park Drive, where a parked vehicle had been broken into. Police took a report.

11:38 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs for a 42-year-old woman with diabetes. She did not require transport to the hospital.
