12:03 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers arrested a 29-year-old Steamboat Springs man at Howelsen Hill Lodge on suspicion of driving under the influence per se and careless driving.

1:37 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary alarm in the 32300 block of Routt County Road 14. The building was locked when officers arrived.



3:18 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies and Fire Rescue responded to a one-vehicle accident on Rabbit Ears Pass. One person was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries.

6:45 a.m. A woman reported a suspicious person in the 900 block of Confluence Court. The woman told police a man who appeared to be covered in blood had been knocking on her door. Police found and contacted the man, who was taken to YVMC to treat an injury on the top of his head.



7:52 a.m. Police arrested a 31-year-old Steamboat Springs man on suspicion of third-degree assault related to domestic violence, harassment, criminal mischief and obstructing a telephone.

8:24 a.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident in the 1100 block of Steamboat Boulevard where a front-end loader had tipped onto its side. There were no injuries, and a report was taken.

9:09 a.m. Police responded to a report of domestic violence in Steamboat Springs.

9:14 a.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to an anonymous complaint about an animal at C.R. 27 and U.S. Highway 40.

9:26 a.m. Police responded to a reported burglary in the 1000 block of Pine Grove Road where someone had attempted to break into a business through the back of the building the night before. A report was taken.

9:55 a.m. Police responded to a complaint about a dog at large in the 700 block of Critter Court. The dog was taken to the Steamboat Springs Animal Shelter.

12:29 p.m. Police responded to a reported two-vehicle accident at the top of Burgess Creek Road. There were no injuries, and a report was taken.

12:58 p.m. Police responded to an anonymous complaint about an abandoned red Nissan at U.S. 40 and Mount Werner Road. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

1:20 p.m. Police responded to a reported two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. There were no injuries, and a report was taken.

1:31 p.m. Police took a report of a found purse in the 600 block of Lincoln Avenue.

1:48 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a reported motor vehicle accident on C.R. 14 at Yellow Jacket Pass where a sports utility vehicle had slid off the road. There were no injuries, and a report was taken.

1:53 p.m. Police responded to a request for an officer in the 1400 block of South Lincoln Avenue where a man who was under investigation for assault was inside a business. A report was taken.

2:23 p.m. Sheriff’s Office deputies and Fire Rescue responded to a motor vehicle accident on C.R. 129 near Mad Creek where two vehicles had collided head-on. Four people were transported to YVMC with minor injuries.

2:59 p.m. Police responded to a reported two-vehicle, hit-and-run accident in the 100 block of Trafalger Drive. There were no injuries.

4:05 p.m. Police and Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a burglary alarm in the 1200 block of Hilltop Parkway. Everything was fine.
