12:08 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers made a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 40 and Old Fish Creek Falls Road. Police said the incident resulted in a summons for open container, two summons for minors in possession of alcohol, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
12:47 a.m. A suspicious person was reported at U.S. 40 west of downtown Steamboat. A Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputy stopped to ask a man walking on the road if he needed assistance, and the man hid and began running away along the Yampa River, according to law enforcement. The man could not be located.
3:28 a.m. Loud noise was reported in the alley between Pine and Oak streets, between Sixth and Seventh streets. Police said it was a fireworks complaint, and one male was taken to a detoxification center.
6:45 a.m. A man reported a suspicious incident in the 400 block of Oak Street. Police said it was an intrusion alarm.
7 a.m. A man made an animal complaint at Stone and Chinook lanes.
7:26 a.m. A vehicle accident was reported on U.S. 40 in the Mount Harris area. Law enforcement said a one-vehicle accident and a two-vehicle accident occurred in the area at about this time, but no injuries were sustained.
9:05 a.m. A woman made an animal complaint in the Weiss Bridge area.
9:23 a.m. A woman reported lost property in the 1400 block of S. Lincoln Ave. Police said the woman lost a Safeway gift card.
11:29 a.m. A woman made an animal complaint on Downhill Drive.
3:27 p.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies arrested without incident a 25-year-old Grand Junction woman in the 1900 block of Shield Drive on an outstanding warrant for a traffic violation.
3:47 p.m. A man made a vehicle complaint on Routt County Road 14. A female driver passed an off-duty Sheriff’s Office deputy at a high rate of speed across a double-yellow line. Law enforcement said the woman was stopped in steamboat and cited.
6:47 p.m. A woman reported a drunken driver at C.R. 14 and Colo. Highway 131. Law enforcement was unable to locate the driver.
6:56 p.m. Police arrested an 18-year-old Steamboat man without incident in the 1300 block of Bob Adams Drive for a failure to appear in court regarding a charge of theft.
7:26 p.m. A man reported a hit-and-run accident at Seventh Street and Lincoln Avenue.
9:52 p.m. Domestic violence was reported in Steamboat Springs. Police said it was a verbal disturbance only, and both parties were separated for the night.
11:09 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs. Police said a female party was unconscious and breathing, in diabetic shock, and was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center.
11:54 p.m. A drunken pedestrian was reported in the 100 block of Lincoln Avenue. Police said the person was taken to a detoxification center.
