1:21 a.m. Police arrested a 32-year-old Hayden man on suspicion of driving under the influence after a traffic stop at Yampa and Ninth streets. A passenger in the car was taken to detox.

2:57 a.m. Police responded to a reported trespass in the 700 block of Weiss Circle, where a 20-year-old man was refusing to leave the premises. Police arrived, and the man left.



7:28 a.m. Police responded to a burglar alarm in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. The alarm was triggered by employee error, and everything was fine.

7:55 a.m. Police responded to a car accident on Fish Creek Falls Road near Third Street, where a car slid off the road. There were no injuries. Police issued a ticket and took a report.



8:55 a.m. Police responded to a car crash in the 2700 block of Downhill Drive, where an SUV hit a tree. Police issued a ticket and took a report.

9:03 a.m. Police responded to a vehicle complaint in the 2400 block of Ski Trail Lane, where construction traffic was blocking the street.

9:05 a.m. Police and Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue responded to an ambulance request in Steamboat Springs, for a 3-year-old girl who was injured sledding. The girl was transported to Yampa Valley Medical Center for treatment.

9:20 a.m. Police responded to a car off the road at Pine Grove and Mount Werner roads. There was no damage, and nobody was injured.

9:22 a.m. Police responded to a car crash on Lincoln Avenue between Third Street and Hilltop Parkway, where a car slid off the road and hit a metal pole. Police issued a ticket and took a report.

9:30 a.m. Police responded to a report of a suspicious driver in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive. A driver reportedly was driving back and forth in a parking lot. The driver reportedly hit a stop sign on the way out of the parking lot and appeared “spacey,” police said. Officers arrested a 25-year-old Steamboat woman on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs, weaving, not using a turn signal, having a defective tail lamp, having one license plate, possession of less than 1 ounce of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

9:48 a.m. Deputies responded to a motorist assist on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 120, where a car drove off the road. The car was towed by a private company.

10:49 a.m. Deputies arrested a person after a traffic stop on U.S. 40 near mile marker 110.

1:59 p.m. Police responded to a two-vehicle, noninjury accident on Ninth Street between Lincoln Avenue and Yampa Street, where a car made a left turn in front of oncoming traffic. Officers issued a ticket and took a report.

3:45 p.m. Police arrested a person on a warrant for failure to appear at the police headquarters in the 800 block of Yampa Street.

4:31 p.m. Police and Fire Rescue crews responded to a fire alarm in the 1900 block of Ski Time Square Drive. Everything was fine.

5 p.m. Deputies arrested a person on a warrant arrest at the Routt County Jail.

5:15 p.m. Police responded to a report of theft of tools in the 900 block of Lincoln Avenue.

5:25 p.m. Police responded to a juvenile situation on East Maple Street, where two teenage students refused to leave Steamboat Springs High School and were throwing items at the school doors. The incident was handled by the school.

6:29 p.m. Police responded to a request for an agency assist in the 1100 block of Pagosa Court, where officers arrested a person on a warrant.
