12:13 a.m. Steamboat Springs Police Department officers responded to the intersection of 10th Street and Lincoln Avenue for an apparently intoxicated minor. The Steamboat Springs resident was turned over to a sober party and issued a ticket for minor in possession.

1:27 a.m. Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputies took a male into protective custody from Colorado Highway 131 near Toponas, following a report of a suspicious person.

2:50 a.m. A welfare check was requested in Steamboat Springs for a person reportedly sending text messages that indicated emotional problems. Police contacted the person and found they were in contact with mental health professionals. No other action was taken.

3:40 a.m. Officers responded to a noise complaint reported in the 3000 block of Columbine Drive. Officers found that everything was quiet.

6:15 a.m. Deputies assisted a motorist whose car ran out of gas near the intersection of U.S. Highway 40 and Routt County Road 136. The car was started, and the driver was able to make it to a filling station.

7:21 a.m. Deputies responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 300 block of East First Street in Oak Creek where a resident reported a person walking around with a clipboard. The person was reading meters, and everything was fine.

8:25 a.m. A Milner man was transported to the Yampa Valley Medical Center with minor injuries following a two-vehicle rollover accident at the intersection of U.S. 40 and C.R. 44.

9:22 a.m. Police arrested a 32-year-old Greeley man on an outstanding warrant.

11:32 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a dog at large in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza. Officers issued a written warning.

11:48 a.m. Officers were unable to locate a vehicle reportedly driving on the shoulder at the intersection of Hilltop Parkway and Lincoln Avenue.

2:32 p.m. Officers made contact with a reportedly drunken driver on U.S. 40 near The Cabins at Riverbend. Police determined the driver was sober.

3:16 p.m. Officers and deputies responded to the base of Steamboat Ski Area, where a skier reportedly was skiing out of control and would not stop for ski patrol. The skier was issued a trespassing warning.

4:43 p.m. An officer was requested in the first block of Anglers Drive where snow reportedly was falling off a roof and causing damage to a nearby property. Police took a report.

6:50 p.m. Police responded to a report of juveniles throwing snowballs on Pine Grove Road. The individuals were gone when police arrived.

6:52 p.m. Police responded to a civil complaint in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza where a landlord complained his tenants would not let him inside a unit.

7:21 p.m. Deputies responded to a report of a fire in the 29000 block of Elk View Drive where smoke reportedly was coming from a basement. Deputies determined a dryer had overheated and everything was fine.

8:48 p.m. An ambulance was requested in Steamboat Springs.

9:10 p.m. Deputies responded to a reported trespassing in the 21000 block of Fourth Avenue in Phippsburg where cars were seen in the driveway of an empty house. Deputies checked the house and everything was fine.

9:13 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a physical argument between coworkers in the 2200 block of Village Inn Court. Police took a report and the incident is under investigation.
