12:25 a.m. A man reported someone sending him text messages, possibly violating a restraining order. The incident is under investigation.
2:05 a.m. A man reported hearing loud music in the 3100 block of Chinook Lane.
2:21 a.m. A man reported two men fighting in a parking lot in the 400 block of Eaglepointe Court. The men were gone when officers arrived.
7:04 a.m. Officers directed traffic around a broken-down Steamboat Springs Transit bus near 13th Street and Lincoln Avenue.

8:13 a.m. A man registered as a sex offender at the Steamboat Springs Police Department.
8:32 a.m. A man in the 800 block of Amethyst Drive reported that one of his windows had been hit with paintballs. A report was taken.

12:09 p.m. Several vehicles reportedly were blocking the road in the 1300 block of 13th Street. The cars were moved.
12:14 p.m. A man was cited for careless driving after he reportedly ran over a stop sign and high-centered his car on a rock. The man was not injured.
12:31 p.m. A man reportedly was concerned about construction material being strewn all over a sidewalk in the 3000 block of Snowflake Circle.
12:35 p.m. A woman reported receiving obscene phone calls.
12:48 p.m. A man reportedly backed his car into an embankment in the 400 block of Blue Sage Circle. The man was concerned that the car would “tip over” if he and the passenger got out of the car without having someone support it. Police and firefighters balanced the car to allow the couple to exit safely.
1:57 p.m. A teenager reportedly threatened to kill a family. The incident is under investigation.
3:05 p.m. A man updated his sex offender registration at the police department.
4:46 p.m. A woman lost her cell phone in the Steamboat area.
5:20 p.m. Police officers conducted the department’s monthly update of sex offender registrations.
5:50 p.m. Officers warned a former employee of a business in the 1800 block of Central Park Drive to not trespass.
10:19 p.m. A teenager reportedly jumped out of a car near Fifth and Oak streets. The teen was contacted by police and released to his mother.
