12:04 a.m. Steamboat Springs police officers arrested an 18-year-old man after officers responded to a loud party at 2015 Bear Road. Tyler Ross Jones, 18, of Steamboat Springs was arrested and charged with DUI, DUI per se, minor in possession and possession of fireworks.

12:33 a.m. A man called to complain that someone took a stop sign from the intersection of Whistler and Walton Creek roads. Public Works was notified.



1:13 a.m. Police responded to the 1000 block of The Boulevard to a report of people yelling and screaming at a party. A verbal warning was issued.

1:33 a.m. An intoxicated person in the 800 block of The Boulevard was taken to detox.



2:12 a.m. Police responded to the 1000 block of 13th Street for a report of yelling and screaming at a party. A verbal warning was issued.

7:50 a.m. A man was found asleep in a running truck at Ninth Street and Lincoln Avenue. He was charged with DUI.

9:94 a.m. A dog was found in the backyard of a home in the 1300 block of Dream Island Plaza and was taken to the animal shelter.

10:06 a.m. A black dog was found at the Hilltop Sinclair gas station on Lincoln Avenue and taken to the animal shelter.

12:17 p.m. Police responded to a report of a drunk driver heading east on U.S. Highway 40. The suspect was not found.

2:32 p.m. Police responded to a panic alarm in the 100 block of Ninth Street. It was determined to be a false alarm.

3:48 p.m. A hit-and-run accident was reported in the 1800 block of Lincoln Avenue. No report was taken.

4:09 p.m. A woman was involved in a one-car accident on U.S. Highway 40 near mile marker 124 when her vehicle struck a deer. The woman was not injured.

6:52 p.m. A man called to complain about four youths setting off fireworks at the Howelsen Hill Skate Park. The youths were gone when police arrived.

7:12 p.m. Police responded to a loud party at Walton Pond Circle, but no verbal warning was issued.

10:19 p.m. Sheriff deputies responded to a report of smoke in the 29000 block of Elk View Drive in Steamboat. The homeowner was burning vegetation. He was advised of the burn ban and was issued a verbal warning.

10:58 p.m. A nose complaint was reported in the 29000 block of Elk View Drive in Steamboat. A verbal warning was issued.
