Sunset Happy Hour will be featured Thursdays including June 27; July 4, 11, 18 and 25; Aug. 1, 15, 22 and 29; Sept. 5, 12, 19 and 26; Friday, Aug. 9; and Saturdays including July 13, 20 and 27 and Aug. 17. Uploading is from 5 to 7:30 p.m.

Art on the Mountain
The 12th installment brings arts and crafts to the Steamboat base area for three days.
Each day begins at 10 a.m. and runs until 4 p.m.
More than 30 vendors from across the country will be selling jewelry, clothing and home decor, among other items.
“People can walk around check out the art, grab a drink at the umbrella bar and there is activities for the kids, as well,” said Traci Allen, the ski area’s events and sponsorship manager.
The event runs Friday, Saturday and Sunday.
New movie series
With the promenade and base area seeing more traffic the past two summers, Steamboat Ski Area has introduced the Movies on the Mountain series.
The event, which starts at sunset July 13, will run for seven Saturdays through the end of August.
“The promenade development has started to attract more people to the base and the mountain in the summer,” ski area spokeswoman Loryn Kasten said. “The whole purpose was to enjoy evenings, daytimes and the entire summertime on the mountain.”
The first movie, “Despicable Me,” will begin at 9:15 p.m. July 13.
Subsequent dates are July 20 and 27 and Aug. 3, 17, 24 and 31.
The movies will be shown at the base of the ski area and will begin at sunset.
Friday night music returning to mountain
On four Friday evenings this summer, music will return to the base area.
The Steamboat Mountain Music Series has four free concerts beginning on July 19 with Missed the Boat.
Naia Kete plays Aug. 2, Giving Tree Band plays Aug. 23 and Zach Heckendorf plays Aug. 30.
All shows will begin at 7 p.m. and take place on the stage at the base area.
