Young Tracks Childcare board of directors is seeking community members to become part of the largest child care center in Routt County. The group is looking for people with a passion for children who are knowledgeable in fundraising or grant writing and who are committed to making the organization thrive.

Lactation clinic offered by YVMC Family Birth Place
Yampa Valley Medical Center’s Family Birth Place staff offers an outpatient lactation clinic from 8 a.m. to noon Wednesdays. Lactation visits are free by appointment in the Integrated Health clinic on YVMC’s campus.
The outpatient lactation clinic offers support and education for women to achieve their breastfeeding goals, regardless of where they delivered their babies. Each visit will include weighing the baby, observation and evaluation of a feeding, assessment of maternal and infant anatomy and suggestions for enhancement. VNA offers immunizations for adults for limited time
Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering $14 adult immunizations for a limited time for MMR (measles, mumps, rubella), HPV, Varicella (chicken pox), pneumococcal (pneumonia), meningococcal (meningitis), Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) and hepatitis A and B (hepatitis vaccines are for people with risk factors). French-speaking volunteers needed to assist residents
French-speaking volunteers are needed for assistance to non-English-speaking residents of Steamboat Springs. Call Anna at 970-870-3069.
Adult day services offered at The Haven in Hayden
The Northwest Colorado Visiting Nurse Association is offering adult day services at The Haven Assisted Living Center in Hayden for any disabled individual older than 18 or elderly individual who is looking for daily activities where oversight is provided. Services are provided from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. Meals, medication administration, activities, assistance with bathing and wellness assessments are available. Reserve booths for the arts and crafts fair in November
A holiday arts and crafts fair is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 5 at Yampa Valley Regional Airport. Crafters and artisans can reserve a booth to exhibit and sell their wares by calling 970-276-5001.
Craig TeleHealth offers flu shots to veterans for free
The Craig TeleHealth clinic hosts a flu shot clinic from 1 to 3:30 p.m. Fridays. All veterans are highly encouraged to get their annual flu shot, said nurse Cindy Dearden, flu shot coordinator. Veterans with a latex allergy should tell staff before getting the flu shot so nurses can take special precautions. Call the clinic at 970-824-6721.
