Tread of Pioneers closed to the public this week

The Tread of Pioneers Museum will be closed to the public Tuesday through Friday to allow for setting up of the Festival of Trees fundraising event. The museum will re-open at 11 a.m. Saturday. The museum will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. every day during the festival, Saturday through Nov. 24.

County historic registry applications due Nov. 21

Applications for designation to the Routt County Register of Historic Properties are due in the Routt County commissioners’ office in the Routt County Courthouse by Nov. 21, to be reviewed by the Historic Preservation Board at its Dec. 12 meeting. Wildlife photos on display at Oak Creek museum

The Tracks and Trails Museum at 129 E. Main Street in Oak Creek is featuring Daniel Ellertson’s wildlife photographs, on display on the Artist’s Wall. This exciting exhibit is free and open to the public for two months. All are welcome. For more information, call 736-8245 from 10 a.m. to noon and 1 to 3 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
