Optimist Club taking Teen of the Month applications

The Steamboat Springs Optimist Club is accepting applications for its Teen of the Month program. Area high school students and those interested can pick up applications from their school counselors or by calling Rob MacCarthy at 871-7179. The program culminates in a May recognition dinner for all the recognized teens and a scholarship for the Teen of the Year.

American Legion offering transport to VA services

The American Legion Post 44 is providing transportation to VA medical centers in Grand Junction and Denver, and to the VA Clinic in Craig. Wildlife photographs on display at Tracks and Trails

The Tracks and Trails Museum, 129 E. Main Street in Oak Creek, is featuring Daniel Ellertson’s wildlife photographs on display on the Artist’s Wall. Call 736-8245.
