Steamboat briefs for Dec. 24

Volunteers needed for Winter Sports Program

Volunteers are needed for Horizons Specialized Services’ 32nd annual Ski and Winter Sports Program. Horizons, Steamboat Ski & Resort Corp. and volunteers from the community partner each season to provide winter sports programs for individuals with developmental disabilities.

The program is an opportunity to get involved, meet new people and spend seven Saturday or Tuesday afternoons helping Horizons clients enjoy skiing, snowboarding, snowshoeing or cross-country skiing.

Call Rebecca at 879-4466, ext. 111, to volunteer or to get more information.
