Steamboat briefs: Fall Youth Chorus kicks off with season’s 1st practice
A Fall Youth Chorus, under the direction of Keri Rusthoi, begins with a practice from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m. Thursday at United Methodist Church of Steamboat Springs. The chorus trains young singers ages 7 to 12 in classical choral singing and performance etiquette. No experience is required, only a love of singing. Business lending seminar is today at Centennial Hall
A free seminar about alternative business lending is from 2 to 4 p.m. Thursday in Centennial Hall, 124 10th St. The forum, sponsored by the city of Steamboat Springs, Colorado Mountain College, the Colorado Enterprise Fund and Colorado Lending Source, will discuss lending options available to entrepreneurs and small-business owners outside of commercial banks. Group offering resources to parents with young children
Newborn Network is a support system dedicated to providing parenting and resource information to all families who live in Routt County and have children as old as 3. Newborn Network’s free services include weekly networking and education groups, parenting education home visits, a lending library of parenting topics and a series of gift bags.
