— Need a little extra romance in your life? Need to get out of your rut as a couple? Need a little love motivation? Well, you have come to the right spot. 

Here are a few ways to spice up your love life in some really fun and flirty ways.

Sit on the same side of the table the next time you eat out. Yes, be that couple!

Remember when you first started dating? Get back to that honeymoon stage and try holding hands everywhere you go for an entire week. Try it! I promise you will feel closer instantly.

Married? Write some new vows and share them with each other over a stargazing session under a nice cozy blanket.

Single? Send someone you are interested in a little note. I like: “For a good time, call Sarah.” 

Ditch the cell phone at your next meal. Doesn’t matter if you are dining in or out. Make it a cell phone-free meal and really connect.

Leave little notes or letters for your lover to find — in their office, in their car or on the bathroom mirror. It’s a subtle surprise that could mean a lot more than you think. Sometimes, it’s a little easier than saying things aloud.

Find an evening ritual you both love. It could be as simple as having 39 minutes of no technology, sitting and having a glass of wine and just talking. Or maybe it’s going on a walk together to watch the sunset. 

Write down 10 things you like about each other and share them in the bedroom.

Have an “Anything can happen day.” Be spontaneous. Call in sick at work and have a fun adventure together or try something new that neither of you has done. Explore somewhere new together and maybe venture out of your comfort zone. 

Now the ball is in your court. Remember why you fell in love in the first place or be ready to fall in love when you least expect it. Always remember to tell the ones you love that you do, in fact, love them. 

And, don’t forget to show it too.
