Sweater: Chrysalis, Jeans: J Brand from Chez Nous, Sneakers: New Balance, Bag: Marc by Marc Jacobs

I’m headed to Las Vegas for work next week, and I’ll be traveling home to Atlanta for the week of Christmas, so I’m already thinking about what I can wear to travel that is both comfortable and stylish. I’m not one to wear sweats on the plane, but I’m also not ever the girl in high heels (in the airport, really?! Why?!). I’m always cold on airplanes, so my number one rule for airport dress code is layers. If it’s not a sweater over a top, I have a wrap or cardigan.

I purchased this amazingly comfortable and warm sweater at Chrysalis during their Black Friday sale last week (they had buy one item get the second 25% off, so I hope you guys took advantage of that!) and not only did I know it would make the perfect weekend outfit, but I immediately knew it was going to be my airport wardrobe this holiday season. It’s really warm and works as a perfect layer over a black tee and jeans like I’ve done here. It’s got a double button to it crosses across the chest, but you can unbutton it to wear it more like a cardigan. Two sweaters in one! And don’t we all know how long of a trek it is at DIA from where the plane from Hayden lands to wherever your connection gate will be? Sneakers are a must!! I just found these amazing New Balance sneakers from Nordstrom during their Black Friday sale, and they’ve quickly become a favorite. Hope you all have happy holidays, and if you’re traveling, I wish you easy and safe travels!
