A Taste of History – “This and That” from the Fair Family Favorites Cookbook | noon | Tread of Pioneers Museum, 800 Oak St.

This talk will center on the "This and That" section of the "Fair Family Favorites Cookbook." Nancy Mucklow and friends will discuss how Routt County women had to make many of their own products and how inventive women had to be to survive and make their lives easier. Although the discussion is not about food, the speakers will also cook up and serve food from favorite recipes in the "Fair Family Favorites Cookbook."

Sue Oehme Printmaking Lecture and Demo | 5 to 7 p.m. | Steamboat Art Museum, 801 Lincoln Ave.

In “The Art of Collaboration: An Artist and a Master Printer,” Sue Oehme will describe different aspects of the collaborative relationship between an artist and printmaker, the process of printmaking and lead attendees through a project from start to finish.

Jim Kehoe Memorial Super Combined Ski Race | 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. | Steamboat Ski Resort, 2305 Mount Werner Circle.

Test your speed and technical ability in this one-time opportunity to race on the designated race trail — All Out. Race the super G in the morning, the slalom in the afternoon or both for a chance at the overall title. The Kehoe Cup will be awarded to the fastest man and woman in the super G. Steamboat Dance Theatre presents its 45th annual Community Dance Concert | 11 a.m., 7 p.m. | Steamboat Springs High School, 45 Maple St.

This event features more than 100 community dancers of all levels and disciplines, including hip hop, lyrical, modern dance and tap. Performers have been rehearsing since October to bring the community this year's show, "The Human Condition,” which explores the marvels and mysteries of the human mind through the lens of dance.

Thirty years ago, Kyle Hollingsworth set out on a career in music. With desire and an abundance of ability, Hollingsworth has established himself as a formidable and versatile music talent deftly able to contribute, collaborate, compose and communicate on a number of levels and within a vast spectrum of musical environments.


Community Yoga Practice: Focus on Tias Little | 10 to 11:30 a.m. | Bud Werner Memorial Library, 1289 Lincoln Ave.

This 80-minute practice focuses on Tias Little’s “River Flow: Opening the Currents of a Yoga Practice” DVD. The practice includes a poem, short meditation and asana — teaching grounded in the structure and precision of alignment from the Iyengar system while reflecting on the fluidity and grace of Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga. All ages, abilities and experience levels are invited to build a personal home yoga practice.

Groovement is a seven-piece, funk-rock band that embodies the soul of Northwest Arkansas — fun, unpredictable and full of life. Currently, the band is touring the U.S. in support of their highly anticipated second album, "Clouds."
