Farmers Market includes more than 100 vendors

— Get out early Saturday to the Farmers Market to peruse the wares of more than 100 vendors, who will showcase both local and regional talents and flavors.

The market will feature a variety of goods, including fresh produce, meats, cheeses, baked goods, canned and prepared foods and plants and handcrafted art and jewelry.

The Farmers Market is open from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday through the summer and is located at the intersection of Seventh and Yampa streets.



New vendors include the following.

Ken Richards Art: Richards is a Denver artist and portrait painter specializing in watercolors and oils with his work primarily featured at the Denver Museum of Science and Nature.



Peace Dog: The Denver-based mobile pet boutique, Peace Dog, features collars and leashes of various sizes, name tags, treats and cookies, pottery like dog and cat mugs and ribbon options.

Snekams: Snekams is a local company that creates baby blankets for baby carriers and strollers.
