Eufórquestra is back in Steamboat this weekend to headline Schmiggity's.

Friday, Jan. 5 

New Mastersounds

10 p.m. | Friday and Saturday | Old Town Pub & Restaurant, 600 Lincoln Ave.

The New Mastersounds return to their home away from home. The quartet from Leeds, UK, always brings a fiery and exciting funk show.

Uranium Mine Snowshoe Tour

10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Fish Creek Falls

Moderately strenuous walk along Fish Creek Canyon. Snowshoes will be available for rent. Registration is required. Call Yampatika at 970-871-9151 for more information.

Book Signing with Eugene Buchanan

5 to 8 p.m. | BAP!, 703 Lincoln Ave.

Head over to the BAP!’s Lincoln location for a book-signing party with local adventurer Eugene Buchanan, who has written about the outdoors for more than 25 years. Meet Buchanan, pick up one of his books, “Brothers on the Bashkaus,” “Comrades on the Colca” or his newest book, “Tales from a Mountain Town,” and have them signed.

Ski free every Sunday at historic Howelsen Hill. It’s as easy as simply stopping into the lodge to pick up your free ticket, which is required to access the lifts and the Nordic trails on these special Ski Free Sundays.

Bud Werner Memorial Library presents a free community yoga video session featuring a 44-minute practice led by Janet Stone, focusing on Stone’s “7-day Bali Series.” Bring a mat or blanket.

Sal will be leading this all-levels flow class. It’s $10 for the one-hour class and one pint of beer after class. Arrive early and bring your own mat.
