Routt County deputy, patrol car involved in rollover crash Sunday night

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS — An on-duty Routt County Sheriff’s Office deputy was involved in a rollover crash on Routt County Road 129 Sunday evening, according to police scanner traffic.

Around 5:10 p.m., Steamboat Springs Fire Rescue was called to a rollover involving a Routt County patrol vehicle near the intersection of county roads 129 and 44A.

According to scanner traffic, the deputy was uninjured, except for a laceration on his forehead. He was transported to UCHealth Yampa Valley Medical Center.
