Why is it that the Pilot chooses to report on certain firings but not others? For example, you did a story on the ice rink manager but not the IS director? Who is he friends with at the paper? Seems like somebody is protecting him, which is disgusting considering what he was fired for!!!!!
Wasn't he also the one who was with the woman who "drowned" up at Chapman earlier this year? And supposedly only her head was wet, not her clothes. How many times is this guy going to get away with this?
I too have been hiking (without dogs) and run into a herd and some of these dogs. I was on my way back down the trail to the car out in the Flat Tops and was followed by the dogs snarling at me. I've never been so scared in my entire life. I was especially thankful that I didn't have my dog with me that day, even though I always keep her leashed I have a feeling that the dogs would have gone after her anyways.
It just posted that he shot himself in the face, and that they still don't know who he is. He didn't have any ID on him, and his fingerprints didn't bring up an ID. Plus shooting himself in the face I'm sure will make it hard to ID him.
where does it say that he waited weeks before calling the meeting? when has there ever been a meeting like this for a sex offender moving to town? It hasn't if the paper is correct, and I have never been notified of a sex offender moving anywhere in the county or city. It's not the SO job to provide a treatment program, it would (and should) have been part of the sentencing which most likely did not happen here since it is saying that he just moved. Seeing as how a meeting like this has never been called before I would say that Wall is being very proactive on this, but I'm reserving my judgement for what is reported at the meeting. It's not really that scary about weeks with no notification when you consider the fact that we are usually not notified when a registered offender moves to town (except on the web site), never notified or know if someone doesn't register (until they get caught) and the average offender commits something like 100 acts before they are ever caught anyways. How scary is that???? Not sure where you are looking but I have had no problems with the web site (not that I look everyday) but it is up and fine now. Could you be more specific about what you like better about the moffat site compared to the routt? I saw all of the same information on both so not sure what the difference is?

Dogs kill pet at Dumont Lake
