The "nordic lodge" will also be a youth and environmental center, housing many not for profits that benefit this community. A low and high ropes course is proposed as well as housing the Yampa Valley Science School. This project has another side that Tom Ross decided to leave out. Typical

On Rob Douglas: Downtown parking redux

Rob still won't answer his fan mail.. Who's going to build a parking structure? Does the city have land in town to build on? If it's a private (ie pay) structure, it will be 'last resort' parking. People will walk 5 blocks to save $5. If it was yours, and you had a 200 car cap, and you charged $5 a day, and it was always full, you'd pull in 365k a yr. If you turned that same space into 'multi-use' buildings w/ 1.5 parking spaces per unit, you walk away with.. how much would all of Riverwalk sell for?
