The last two "Conservative commentaries" have been useless drivel. Why on earth is our newspaper printing these rantings of an angry old white man? It's embarrassing.
When I read articles like this my teeth hurt. Thanks, Pilot, for keeping us informed.....of the amazingly ridiculous behavior of the City of Steamboat Springs. This has gone beyond witch hunt; it is now a gross violation of the responsibilty to the taxpayers to spend time and effort on worthwhile issues. The actions of the Liquor License Authority beg the question "Is there another effort to eliminate liquor licenses in the city?" The first effort was in recent years when it was declared by city council that "there are too many liquor licenses in Steamboat Springs".
The city should be adding routes and shortening wait times, not the other way around. There has to be a solution: what do other resort towns do??? Improve recruiting practices.
'Personhood' amendment defeated in a landslide
Please remember, voters - that had Amendment O passed, we would not have to see all of these ballot issues on election day.
