hey gary
sounds like you are getting desperate.
all this worthless administration has done for the American people is:

gasoline prices have tripled.

gotten us embroiled in an untenable “war” that has cost the American public over $500 billion and over 4000 lives

managed to balloon our national debt to $10.6 trillion. makes your quote of $845 million sure look like chump change to me.

most galling is giving the Federal Reserve a blank check with the American public's money to bail out the PIGMEN who have caused the worst financial meltdown in memory.

and you want the American public to believe that your party should remain in power?
and all you can come up with is lets be scared of Obama because he has the audacity to actually have a dialogue with the leaders of the rest of the world?
all Bush and Co. have done is antagonized the rest of the world with their arrogance and bullying.
sorry Gary but your President is the one who has trashed the Bill of Rights and left the American people and their children the ones holding the bag for his horrible fiscal and political policies.
on a personal note, tell me Gary, if Sen Obama came into your store and wanted to buy a nice $20000 tennis bracelet for his wife, would you refuse to sell it to him? or does the profit motive override your sense of indignation?

extrapolating the sale of the remaining units to the average sale price of the sold units (although you would figure that most of the highest priced ones are the ones not sold yet) comes out to $77.6 million.
their cost will be(without any cost overruns, haha) $80.5 mil.
add in RE commissions, interest on loans if they dont sell out right away and this looks like these guys made a big bet that may not pay off (see: Steamboat Grand)
they better hope Bank of America doesn't go belly up this year. their acquisition of Countrywide could send them over the edge.
all I can say is hahahaha!

bob
I went over to the bore's blog, what a hoot! LOL!
he's built a monument to his own over inflated ego, named himself King, and he is basically talking to himself as usual, with the exception of his little buddy jazz and I guess now you.. I see he has already deleted posts from someone who disagreed with his “absolutely substantiated” view. pretty hypocritical considering how he is still crucifying the SP&T over his demand for an apology.
I plan on signing up there, someone needs to keep him in check.
any bets on how quick I'll get deleted by the czar sbvor?
as for this travesty , well, it was fun while it lasted.
I'm sure the ACLU would have an opinion on it, maybe I'll drop them an e mail. anonymously of course!
I guess Steamboat will have to do without a conscience anymore.

Montrose officer shoots at teen, misses
http://www.denverpost.com/news/ci_996986…

montrose, Colo.—A critical incident team will investigate an officer-involved shooting in Montrose, following an attack that allegedly occurred late Monday.

Montrose Police Chief Tom Chinn says Officer Geo Mendoza shot at a 17-year-old boy after the teen attacked Mendoza, who had responded to a burglar alarm at a business.

Mendoza missed, and the teen was not hurt. The officer was treated for undisclosed injuries, then negotiated with the suspect to surrender.

Police arrested the boy on suspicion of first-degree burglary and first-degree assault.

He was taken to Grand Mesa Youth Services in Grand Junction.

Mendoza and another officer involved in the incident have been placed on leave.

RI cops arrest man with .491 blood alcohol level
http://www.denverpost.com/watercooler/ci…
providence, r.i.—State Police arrested a man early Tuesday whose blood alcohol level allegedly was .491, more than six times the legal limit, which they believe is the highest ever recorded in Rhode Island for someone who wasn't dead.

The man, 34, was arrested after he drove into a highway message board on Interstate 95 in Providence, Maj. Steven O'Donnell said.

After police arrived, the man had trouble getting out of the car, then grabbed it and refused to move, forcing troopers to carry him to the breakdown lane before taking him back to their barracks, O'Donnell said.

A Breathalyzer test showed the man had blood alcohol readings of .489 followed by .491, O'Donnell said, the highest readings anyone at the State Police or the Department of Health could remember for someone who didn't end up dead.

The legal limit in Rhode Island is .08. A blood alcohol of .3 is classified as “stupor,” .4 is “comatose” and .5 is considered fatal, according to the health department.

Our only assumption could be that the person has a serious alcohol problem,” O'Donnell said. “The person's lucky they survived. There's no doubt he would have gotten killed or killed someone if he had continued on the route he was taking.”

The man was taken to Rhode Island Hospital where he was put in the detoxification unit and sedated, O'Donnell said.

He was scheduled to be arraigned later Tuesday on charges of drunken driving and resisting arrest.
