Brent Boyer: From the newsstand to the laptop

I agree with the others - I want a full version but I think in order to make it a successful venture for the paper you should actually do a DAILY email blast to your subscribers. Instead of a pdf, make the email blast an HTML version of the first page of the paper, then readers can click on the stories and a main link and it will take them to your website for the FULL HTML version. This will give readers exposure to your advertisers as well as to the content.

This isn't rocket science here, sign up with a major email blast service and start providing readers what they want - and save a bunch of trees in the process.

Story ripe for the picking

The problem here is the inconsistency. Why is it that Billy Kid can blatantly steal food from City Market and he gets his case dismissed because he is a representative of Steamboat, while others are spending 6 months in jail for stealing garbage. I do not think what they did is right at all and they should be penalized, but there needs to be consistency in penalties. And no the entire town is NOT pleased with our law enforcement, this has been an issue for a while now, from rape and sexual abuse cases that are withheld from the public eye to preserve our image, resulting in more rapes to abuse of power. I hope this opens a can of worms and we get some answers.
