Monday Medical: Cataract surgery can correct vision loss

From thie time I was wheeled into the operating room till the time I was drinking coffee down town was just 1 hour and 20 minutes. Spent way more time with the paper work than I did in pre and post operation rooms. Now I'm 20/20 and 20/15. Pretty good.

Do you support the Postal Service's plan to move P.O. boxes from Sundance Plaza into the downtown branch?

Leave 'em where they are. If it ain't broke don't fix it.

Our View: Holding out hope for a new post office

So, the post office is offering the citizens a choice. Do we want major traffic jams at US 40 and Pine Grove. Or, do we want major jams at US 40 and 3rd Street.

Post office plans move

What a mess this will be. Moving the downtown P.O. and closing the Sundance branch will make it inconvient for many, many people. It will cause traffic jams at that intersection. How about the people west of town? Sure hope council jumps on this proposal. It certainly isn't, "a reall good situation for everyone".

Parks' master plan nears end

Why is the Rita Valentine Park being singled out for special scrutiny. There are other city properties that are woefully underused. Look at that parcel called rodeo grounds. This land is utilized a few hours on a few Friday nights during the Summer. A guess is that it is used less that 25 hours a year. This area could be used as an extension to the parks already in place.
The Rita Valentine Park is a wonderful back to nature place for a variety of individual activities all year long. It is used by runners, walkers, snow shoers, cross country skiers, dogs. etc. Leave the park in it's natural state.

Stuart Orzach: Put 700 up for vote

I agree completely! This issue and a lot of others should go to the local citizens for a vote.
