Mountain Lions were here long before we were, and they will be here long after we are gone. We moved into their territory. They did not tresspass upon ours. If you do not like wildlife, move into the city and see where you are more safe. Get a concealed carry permit and protect yourself. If we move one cat, another will fill the vacancy. Accept it as is or leave. Your choice.
The DA's office is not beyond reproach either! I have proof that their investigator, JOSEPH DEANGELO is guilty of the same thing as Johnson is accused of. Deangelo has removed statements from a case file that was sufficient evidence for felony charges. He then allowed the suspect to change his story and statement and even went so far as to help him get a job with the Moffat sheriff's dept. Talk about a RAT! And now he wants to convict another officer for the same crime. Now is the time for us to put pressure on the DA to either clean up her office or be recalled. I fully intend to expose this to the media so we can hopefully someday have justice4all. If our local media does not respond, I will go to whatever extremes necessary to see that everyone is informed. Come on DA, call my hand.
This is also what Wayne and Rebecca Eller of Steamboat Springs has done for Oak Creek and other ares for years. They work through LOVE,INC of Craig. They collect and mend coats as well as buy new coats with their own money all year. They do take some donations, but most of the funds come from their own pockets. It is great that we have people that care enough about others to do these things and give so unselfishly to help people that they do not even know. The Ellers effort has been unmentioned in the press so I feel that this is a greart opportunity to say thank you. So, thanks Wayne and Becky for caring about our town, Oak Creek.
This is a news story about Kathie Johnson. We find it VERY DISTASTEFUL for you to even mention the situation involving her husband in such a sad article. Shame on the writer.---Or--- are you trying to make an inference????
Something sure smells fishy here. The DA had this man under investigation, allowed him to testify in several cases resulting in questional convictions that probably will either be re-tried or dismissed and now they want to prosecute the case. I smell something. Kindly reminds me of the previous DA. I think I have the name right. Correct me if I am wrong, Was it Ro-stink??
