PS to nums: your so funny! Im really glad that theres someone out there brave enough to stick with all the BS spouted by the DA, even when everyone else can see the real truth which is so apparent. Good for you!
Hey, just wanted to say thanks on this page to so everyone sees it - to the fabulous folks of steamboat who supported us through this, signed petitions, wrote letters. Also thank you steamboat Pilot for following the story so diligently (especially Alexis!). And thank you Jonathon Hieb! He was so amazing, this would never of happened with out him.
Hi, my mom already wrote something but I just wanted to send HUGE THANKS to the owner of Sweet Pea Jonathon Heib for sticking up to the truth. I hope everyone gives them lots of business!
Also thanks to the staff of the Pilot (especially Alexis) for tellin it like it is! I hope you guys take this as a lesson that we DO have the power to make change as one collective voice, i most definitely have.
FRIENDS, MY SON HAS JUST RECIEVED A LETTER FROM ST.JAMES THAT DUE TO OUTSIDE PRESSURE THE SENTENCE HAS BEEN REDUCED TO TIME SERVED. IT IS OVER.
GOOD LUCK AND THANK YOU+++BEAUTIFUL PEOPLE OF STEAMBOAT SPRINGS WHO STOOD UP FOR MY SON GILES AND DAVID. I FOR ONE, PLAN A VACATION TO YOUR GORGEOUS TOWN AS SOON AS I CAN. LOVE ALWAYS, GILES'S MOM SHAUNE
Hello all--I just wanted to get back to the facts. The DA and ADA are now trying to cover their butts by back tracking to the police report which has been recanted by the Sweet Pea owners. That police report was written up at night when the female co-owner was under duress, frantic and not thinking clearly. In the light of the next day they could see that all was normal in the store, nothing taken, disheveled, or broken. They DID tell the ADA this but he chose to move ahead with a felony burglary anyway. They were prosecuted for what they DIDN'T do. The DA and ADA know they didn't break into that store. Remember---no fingerprints, no broken locks, no mess, nothing missing--NO EVIDENCE at all except for this womans initial claims which were recanted by BOTH owners. I would love to see the photos of the pathetic vegetables that they took from the trash. One fact that hasn't been out there is that the asparagus they got was 2 single spears, not 2 bunches. Who would break into a store and take the miserable amounts of food they took??
The bible says every corn grower should leave the corners of the crop for the poor to glean. I think Jesus was a hippie, pan handler, hitch hiker, and in his own way a Rainbow peacenik. I bet he believed in recycling too, just like David and Giles!
JustSomeJoe- excuse me, but they didn't break in anywhere except the trash cans. They did tresspass onto their property but they didn't break into the store!!
Charle and Siller released
