Rob Douglas: Chief Caterinicchio acted unprofessionally

LTFO: interesting you would shift the focus towards Mr. Douglas and attempt tainting of what the real problem is. Obviously, you haven't checked out Mr. Douglas' credentials. He plainly just did his job. He is indeed a fine journalist and a former private investigator in Washington, D.C. I believe it is reprehensible that a 'chief' of a police department would attempt to replace and send a new taser policy to the Steamboat Pilot, and admittedly not seen by the two police commissioners, just to cover his a$$. Now, that is audacity.

Rob Douglas: Chief issues gag order, threats

This is clearly a conflict of interest here with Chuck as he needs to return to his board seat, with equal powers as the rest of the board members. What are you thinking, Chuck? It has always been my understanding that all police policies are public record and obviously, the 'chief' has again, elevated himself inappropriately with his pompous ego. The 'chief' needs to remember he is a public servant with serving the people of the town of Oak Creek.
Board members: take your heads outta the sand!! United we stand, divided we fall.

Rob Douglas: Rookie chief needs oversight

Rob Douglas' article was very enlightening as an outsider looking in with an objective opinion. I think it was an interesting depiction of the 'Chief's' superior image he has created for himself and apparently, anyone opposing him, or questioning his authority lays open a hidden threat of reprisal which creates fear of retaliation or targeting. What an interesting observation noting the 'Chief' would read through a police magazine, and disrespect a citizen by not affording any consideration by sincerely or thoughtfully addressing an issue and remedying a problem. By not allowing an Oak Creek citizen to feel comfortable with opposition of any of the 'Chief's' decisions or the citizen is made to feel any questioning of authority is frivolous and not worthy of a civil answer; it is no wonder complaints are not recognized in the town as valid. There is something critically wrong when one elevates himself with a pompous demeanor that all are wrong, that he alone has the only answer and how dare you question his authority you insignificant little bug.

Police Chief: Don't interfere

What happened to the concept of 'protect and serve'? As a tax payer, I don't feel like I have been protected, especially when the 'department' goes home early at night and the town runs amok...and served? It appears there is a different set of rules they run by: 'do what I say and not what I do'. Sigh.

Dear southrouttmucker: JQPUBLIC is not Reta...sounds like her though, don't it? It is Debbie VanGundy. Fact. And no, VanGundy, I don't have a double or triple alias as you...just innovated.

Police forum packs hall

Absolutely aristocat...the 'new bloggers' are cloaked under new names due to past exposure so they can punch again at will. Debbie, Sonja, Reta: Disgruntled because their board was a failure and replaced with a mayor that really cared. And, whomever she supported, the cauldron boiled which made their hate bowls fill even more. Sad that all that negative energy couldn't been reversed for the betterment of the town we love.

Soroco High School students display musical excellence

I am so proud of Amanda and Cassy. They are talented young ladies, respectful of their elders, well adjusted and just simply a pleasure to be around. They have parents that have always been involved with their education and school activities. And, I might add, these kids know how to work, do chores and respect their parents household authority. Imagine that. Congrats to my most favorite kids!!
