Is there a Judge in this case? Isn't the DA supossed to recommend sentences to a judge? And how does the DA release a convicted criminal at his/her discretion? Where is the rule of law in this case?
As an ex resident of "the boat" I have a very fond memory of Routt County, but there is no way I will vacation there with Kerry St.James in the DA's office. This incident is garnering national attention and will cost the town significant income. The sooner it is delt with, the sooner it will be forgotten.
I read about these horrendous sentences in the Rocky Mtn news today. There is no way in hell I will be visiting Steamboat for a vacation with nazis in the DA's office. I hope the people in Routt county get these bastards out of office ASAP!!!!!!!

Men get six months in jail for stealing food from trash
