On Experts give tips on helping Spanish-speaking workers

I see that,as usual, there is no lack of morons labelling as 'racist' anyone whose opinion doesn't jibe with theirs.

On Experts give tips on helping Spanish-speaking workers

rssco, you don't get it. The immigrants who came here thru Ellis island HAD to learn english if they wanted to succeed in America. There was no alternative, no PC laws requiring the printing of government forms in their native languages, no bi-lingual education. The fact is that today, a spanish-speaker does not have to learn English to function well in America. It is possible for them to carry on their every-day lives without ever soeaking a word of english.
The problems inherent in a situation where large numbers of a country's citizens speak a language differing from the majority can bee seen in Canada and Belgium. The division has created an ongoing separatist movement in both countries for many, many decades. A nation not united by a common language is a nation divided.

The fact of the matter is that we don't know anything about Cancer: what causes it, why some people get it and others don't. Treatments abound, definitive results few.

On Rob Douglas: Engle’s death demands answers

'No smoke detector was found in the home. The sad task of stating the obvious fell to city Fire Marshall Jay Muhme, who said, “It’s possible that having a smoke detector in the house could have made the outcome different.”'

If you understand the english language, that's your answer.

On Concealed weapon permits on the rise

'I am not anti gun, just think a little more thought needs to go into the reasons of owning one, especially a hand gun.'

' More thought'????? How about the need to protect your life and/or property should someone decide to relieve you of both? Or do you think the police are going to be there when you need them?

The only thing that needs 'more thought' is your thinking that it needs 'more thought.'

On Rob Douglas: Senseless acts near and far

The only thing that qualifies as 'senseless' is the writer's attempt at equivalence between the American flag and the Koran. The koran is the guidebook for every atrocity and genocidal act committed by moslems since Mohammed's time. For Americans it is the motivating source of our enemy which resulted in 9/11, and the numerous beheadings and other acts of violence which have been a hallmark of the Islamofascists since then.

Yes. I am outraged when some nitwit desecrates the American flag. No, I am not outraged when an American soldier riddles a koran with bullets. Only simpleton Liberals like Douglas find both acts equally offensive. The only real offense is his attempt to equate the two.

On Murray Tucker: Audacity of hope

Anyone doubting the overwhelming support for the arab/muslim terror gangs need only refer to every poll taken by arabs/muslims on this subject which show a range of 70% and upwards of muslims voiced support for these groups. And of course the recent election of Hamas in which over 90% of gaza arabs voted for Hamas.
