The teacher at Strawberry Park is Katie Knezivich, it wouldn't have been that difficult the research who the "other" teacher is. This is an awesome program that is implemented at BOTH schools.
It sure would be nice if the Steamboat School district would support its schools with this kind of technology. We are still using overhead projectors! The kids in Steamboat are being left behind and are stuck in the 20th century!
This guy has left nothing in the house. He has taken out the entire kitchen, the toliets, sinks cupboards and all of the fixtures. He may have built it to keep it but he certainly didn't leave anything but a skeleton for the bank.
Thomas, I really hope you get the card and the camera back, if it was a local that found it, you probably will! I can't say anything about our out of town guests, but the locals, well we are a pretty honest bunch!
Melissa, You may want to ask the principal at Soda Creek about the "floating teacher" It is my understanding that, rather than have four classes of third graders, she has chosen to "float" the fourth teacher between the classes. The total number of third grade kids is then divided by the four teachers to get the number below 20.
This is absurd! 10 years worth of Social Security numbers for 1,300 past and present employees from a past audit stored on a laptop with only the computer being password protected. Why wasn't the spreadsheet destroyed after the audit? So much for the grreat Citrix server that keeps all of the schools' documentation protected. I just don't get the stupidity of the district! Aren't SS numbers suppose to be kept under lock and key and not with the associated names?
Although the dates were limited to the month of August, I was able to book airfare to the midwest for 300.00, The lowest I could find out of Denver was 318. It pays to do the flight watcher on travelocity.
Fishy, if you were around SPE today you would have seen the old modulars being destroyed around 10:00am. Yes, we have been packiing for the last month (after school and on weekends) and yes, we were teaching until 3:00 yesterday, any books we were using were packed after the bell rang! Just because the kids get to leave at 3:15 does not mean the staff is gone too!

In light of starry views during last Sunday's power outage, is downtown Steamboat Springs too bright at night?
What about the lights at the college? The are really bright and certainly seem like they could be toned down a bit!
