It would probably help if more parents let their children ride the bus to school. What about walking or riding a bike? I think most of us as children in the 70's rode our bikes to school or walked. Granted many kids live too far away to walk or ride their bikes in the Steamboat Springs School District. Trust me, it's okay to let your child/children ride the bus. My kids rode the bus to and from school (in Steamboat Springs) kindergarten up until they could drive their own car(s). Help ease the congestion and have them ride the bus! It's okay! Your child will be fine!
