justice4all and 14th_to_OAR: This is a story being covered by the Craig Daily Press, our sister paper. Here are links to two follow stories that have been published in the past week:
addlip2u, I think this paragraph from the above story answers the question:
At the Steamboat Ski Area, helmets already were required for terrain park classes. Under the new Intrawest rules, the resort will require students 15 and younger to wear helmets, Ski Corp. spokeswoman Loryn Kasten said.
addlip2U: That's a good question that we hope can be more fully explained when we update this story later today. According to the Intrawest news release: - "Required helmet use for children/youth program participants aged three to 12, 13, 14 or 17 at Intrawest's wholly-owned ski resorts in North America (upper age limit will be determined by each resort and will include regional considerations)." We're awaiting word from Ski Corp. officials about what the upper age limit will be at the Steamboat Ski Area, or if it's even been determined.
LTFO: We have published letters to the editor, to go along with staff-written editorials, in the Wednesday and Sunday newspapers for just about as long as we've been a daily newspaper.

OnceLivedHere: Thanks for your feedback. Many of the details of Monday night's incident, including the source of the guns and information about the vehicle, were still being investigated by authorities late Monday night and today. We will have a follow story in Wednesday's newspaper and on Steamboatpilot.com.
Scott: The weekly transactions should have been posted to Steamboatpilot.com as well as SteamboatHomefinder.com. SteamboatHomefinder.com includes daily updated transactions on its main page, with details about the sales such as size of home, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, physical address, etc. We will get Steamboatpilot.com updated with the transactions as soon as possible.
We recently improved the way we publish weekly real estate transactions, both online and in the print edition of the Sunday Pilot & Today. During that transition, we neglected to continue to post the transactions to Steamboatpilot.com. We have since posted the transactions from the past two weeks. Last week's can be found here:
Significantly, our revamped SteamboatHomefinder.com Web site includes detailed transactions listings, complete with property photos and other relevant information - square footage, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, etc. The transactions are often updated throughout the week.
Just log on to http://www.steamboathomefinder.com and scroll to "Recent Sales" at the bottom center of the homepage. I hope this helps, and sorry about the confusion.
