I saw this crew perform at the Art Depot a few weeks ago. They must have just arrived from New Zealand. Anyway, they were AMAZING. I hope their performances at Spring Creek will be well attended. Kudos to Mr. Handloff!
Caroline, you have set the standard for strength, fortitude and grace. You are a champion in every sense of the word. I am stunned that the team appears to have quit on you, when you have never quit on the team, or on yourself--especially when the going got tough. And John, thanks for the story.
I saw the show last night and loved it. It IS community theatre AND it is very good. The assertion that it is very good FOR community theatre was unnecessary and adds nothing to an otherwise positive review. Come on Margaret! We all knew we weren't attending opening night on Broadway.
Given that the undersherrif has clearly stated "alcohol was a factor in the incident" I do not think people are making a rush to judgement, or making unfair assumptions when they say that alcohol contributed.
53native: I am one of the 47 million without health insurance. My car is a 1992. I do not have a TV or cable let alone a big screen HDTV, do not own any gas-guzzling toys (unless one counts the chainsaw), never take vacations, nor do I belong to a health club. I do own my own house-- in my case it is cheaper than renting. My season ski pass is a benefit of one of the three jobs I have.
As a cancer survivor, health insurance is hard to come by via an individual policy. Yeah, I CHOOSE not to pay over $1100 a month to insure my health. I also CHOOSE to clothe, feed and house my children.
The only taxpayer who has ever picked up a hospital tab for me........... is me.
Joanne Palmer: Having a towanda moment
Next time, just like, you know, like taze them when they're blocking empty parking spots. Perfectly reasonably use of force. Really.

Former Oak Creek mayor Tasered, arrested
Eluding police and resisting arrest while drunk enough to think doing so was a good idea. Thank you for getting her off the road.

Lynn Abbott: For the common good
[from Dundalk's post] "Instead of the perk of a season pass from your employer, wouldn't it be great to have insurance?"
Yes, Dundalk, it would be great.
