I'm in the Assessor's office weekly....working on their public computers. I know that there is the County Assessor (elected) and then numerous appraisers (not elected).
Are you available at the county to call to clarify your comment?
If your statement is true, I am happy to learn that they will lose their ag status once a house is built. Too many people seem to have the tax break, but aren't an ag operation.
