Dan Hulslander: Roundabout risky

Another first for Steamboat! We have the privilege of having the first miniature roundabout designed and approved by people with miniature brains!

Knezevich ousted

If Mike's main focus would have been the state of the education at the high school instead of being morIf e concerned about winning a popularity contest with the staff, maybe he'd still have a job. Thank you to Robin, Laura and Denise for making a sound and brave decision. The three of you can honestly say that you have made a POSITIVE impact on the school district. P.S. Carmen, I haven't been to church lately, but isn't there something in the scripture along the lines of "Judge not, lest ye be judged"? Maybe personally attacking someone in a public forum isn't very "Christian". But who am I to say?

Triple Crown needs assurances

Simple problem - Simple solution. Let TC go. Then the city can create a "Tournament Coordinator" position. This position could arrange a manageable number of tournaments. The income from this could pay for the newly created position AND recreation enhancements. People would still come to Steamboat and spend money, but the city would be in control of the numbers and would not have Dave King holding them hostage.

Kerry Hart: The danger of interdisciplinary arts education

ID-
You missed the point of the article. Better yet, rather than spending your time rereading it, why not find a nice piece of literature to read. You might discover that there are more enjoyable things to do besides complaining about things that you have no control over.

Nerney continues fight

Sometimes things just work out for the best. I think this is a prime example.

Jim Tholson: Construction a problem

It's not the change that is bad. It's the lack of planning to have a cohesive, integrated, economical plan for this town. Face it - the people in charge are amateurs. They could make the developers (the Jim Cook's of Steamboat) play by their rules and force the developers to contribute more from their obscene profits to enhance the public assets. For example, the Rec Center could be paid for by the developers and then everyone wins.

Stephen M. Aigner and Sue Carter: Concerned for future

Helloooooo. The elections are over. Remember, everyone has a brain (albeit, functioning at different levels) and everyone gets one vote (a secret vote). So if people want to spend their hard-earned money on ads because they believe in something, so be it! It is possible that they may know more about an issue than the average Joe. Regardless, we all get to use our brains to discern fact from BS and then we have the privilege of casting one vote. So my point is.....Y'all need to put your energy into positive actions rather than insulting each other over past events.......Get a life (a mature, adult life)!

E-mails reveal DeVincentis' anger

Thank you Pilot for reporting this story. If you end up revealing your source, or the source comes forward, I want to be first in line to thank them as well. As voters, we are limited to the information that we have to make "good" decisions. Unfortunately, I did not have enough information to make a "good" decision last November and regret voting for that candidate. But I am certainly glad that I have the information needed when I am approached with a recall petition.
