City staff shortages widespread

Once touted as one of the BEST bus systems in a recent SKI magazine has now lost it luster due to poor hiring and management practices. Sorry G. Krawzoff...H2 workers should have been delayed and not just from Australia. How about Mexico or other areas like Flint, MI (16% unemployment)?

I'd like to know the liability issues for CMC students walking up to the campus on the road without sidewalks. If a driver hits a person in the road who is at fault. This service is needed for the students.

Winter bus routes may be cut

What causes more traffic the bus or personal/commercial vehicles? Why did Denver add light rail? Why does Steamboat have traffic problems? Think about what might reduce traffic. The answer will come.

Winter bus routes may be cut

The CMC bus scheduled is critical last time I looked there was no sidewalk up the hill. Also for the recent comment...nothing is FREE I pay very high taxes and for a good reason...the bus system is needed and money a good work. Is traffic not a problem in Steamboat? What's Gore been talking about?

Formula stores up for debate

Intrawest was welcomed because the ski area couldn't get into the black and the area needed improvements. Old Town needs a face lift and it's in progress. With multi-use buildings retail will become part of that. As mentioned a few weeks ago, try to have a conversation at a restaurant where you sit outside along Lincoln (where is the bypass)? The open market should be in play with all retail (it might help the sales tax issue the Chamber keeps bring up) or go to the net to purchase goods. I love Old Town and that's where I live but it is finally getting some nice improvements. A free market will benefit the city and consumer.
