Eric you were an outstanding person and will truly be missed. More than a friend to me and all of steamboat. This is a horrible accident and to think you were fighting for our country in Iraq just 2 months ago. Man i will miss you!!! much love to your family…..RIP

I agree triple crown people can be rude and obnoxious but on the other hand they bring in many $$$ of revenue for the city and local businesses alike. also who else will fill the new monstrosities that are popping up all over town?

Lets just double the budget and help some well deserving kids out. Steamboat needs more activities for the youngsters and plus it will help keep them out of trouble

WOW!! i never realized that Donna Howell was being paid so much for doing a sub-par job. Maybe if the schools are going to pay a superintendent such a large salary we should get our money worth. But i can say I'm happy to see Howell gone

Kerry St. James is a coward and a chump. The only reason why he lowered the sentence was to save his own ass! This Idiot needs to step down and get someone who can think for themselves and is not influenced by the media to make the right decisions. Shame on you St. James and the whole DA's Office.

Seeing how Jane Blackstone is a local and lived in steamboat her entire life she would totally be able to know what we want. “I do think that all of this redevelopment was encouraged and embraced by the city and the community,” Blackstone said. This statement is a crock of s**t. Steamboats just turning into another vail. this is sad and really upsets all of us who grew up here and have to see great locals lose their businesses so we can build more condos. Might as well add some chain restaurants in too so we can really F**k up this town.
