The newspaper is a great way to educate drivers about the Colorado law as pertaining to right of way of pedestrians and bicycles, especially to YIELD for bikes and pedestrians at crosswalks. A lot of drivers think that the pedestrian or biker must instead yield for them.
Drivers should remember that the only work they are doing is pushing on the gas pedal or brake.

Every “traffic improvement” that focused on handling more has resulted in saturation within a short time. We have to go beyond that type of thinking for a solution.
A cummuter train that is laid out in a simple way may be the best solution. Walk or bike to the station and be delivered downtown.

When you have a business entity that is financially ahead and can offer great service without increasing fees then I'd have to say that you are doing the right thing. If a business wants to spend huge amounts of money without the benefit of increased capacity for future larger crowds then it is pure folly.
The Old Town Hot Springs is a wonderful leisure pool with a few lap lanes and because of physical constraints will always be just that. This community needs indoor competition swimming and diving pools not only for the schools but also for the adults.
