Steven Reckinger is a copy editor for the Steamboat Pilot & Today. He moved
to Steamboat Springs in July 2008 from Oklahoma, where he graduated from the
University of Central Oklahoma with a bachelor's in English and a master's
in creative writing. He worked as a copy editor, page designer and
editor-in-chief for the university's newspaper, The Vista. Steven was born
into a military family and spent much of his childhood moving from place to
place. He is married to Bonnie and has a 1-year-old daughter named Sophie.
He enjoys writing, theater, art, films and European soccer.
