Leslie Small joined the Steamboat Pilot & Today as a copy editor in September 2009. While studying at the Pennsylvania State University, she caught the all-consuming journalism bug while holding various reporting and editing positions at The Daily Collegian . She graduated in May 2009 with a bachelor's degree in journalism and political science (plus a rather useless minor in French). After graduation, she completed an internship on The Philadelphia Inquirer's copy desk.
She grew up in Downingtown, Pa., a suburb of Philadelphia - cementing her lifetime love of all Philly sports.
Her interests include: hiking, camping, snowboarding, reading, drinking wine and watching reruns of "Law & Order." While she's traveled a lot, she thinks Steamboat Springs may be the most beautiful place she's ever been.
