Water and wastewater utilities continue to deteriorate nationwide and yet we continue to be skeptical about putting money into these utilities. What is more important to your overall well being? Clean water and safe drinking water or another 100 cable TV channels. Most people spend more per month on cable TV, cellphones and the Internet than they do on public utilities.
