Golf State Championships: Day 1
Meghan Otte sits on her father’s shoulders attempting to get a better look at the action Monday during the 4A high school golf state championships. The Otte’s were part of the more than 300 spectators who witnessed the first round of the finals at Yampa Valley Golf Course.
Steamboat Springs’ Kaelen Gunderson tees off on hole No. 16 Monday at Yampa Valley Golf Course. Gunderson’s round of 74 earned him a tie for sixth-place heading into today’s final round.
Wyndham Clark, a Valor Christian freshman, eyes his putt on the 18th green Monday. Clark leads the 4A high school golf state championships after the first round, carding a 66 in his 18 holes of work.
